The island of Tinos was always bathed in the divine light of the Cyclades. The temple of Poseidon and Amphitrite, over 680 mythical dovecotes, the Venetian pillars in the city of Tinos and in Pyrgos, the pebble-made yards, the arches, the marble fanlights, over 750 white churches, the giant round rocks of the exotic Volax, 500 years of Venetian occupation, dozens of painters, sculptors and masters of marble, the legendary Giannoulis Chalepas, Gyzis, Lytras, all bathed tenderly in a blessed light.

Like an orthodox beacon of faith, for years the Church of the Virgin Mary of Tinos has guided hundreds of faithful believers, some walking and some kneeling, to her steps. Favie’s great wish was to accommodate everyone… and so it came to be: Favie Suzanne!
